PS Participates in #RedBooksDay 2025

On February 21, 2025, Partido Sosyalista proudly participated in Red Books Day, a global celebration of leftist literature, revolutionary authors, and progressive movements. This annual event, held in honor of the publication of The Communist Manifesto, provided an opportunity to engage in the exchange of global ideas and texts while reaffirming our solidarity with comrades worldwide.

Our celebration took place at UP Diliman, where we hosted a public reading from 3:00 to 7:00 PM. The gathering brought together students, activists, and scholars, all united by a shared passion for radical thought and transformative literature. As part of the program, we paid tribute to the late Ka Dodong Nemenzo, a steadfast advocate for social justice and a towering figure in the Philippine left. Excerpts from his works were read aloud, allowing attendees to reflect on his contributions to the movement and draw inspiration from his words.
